Adam D. Lamnin

Mr. Lamnin became President and Chief Executive Officer of Assurant Health in January 2011. An 18-year, specialty insurance executive, Mr. Lamnin previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Assurant Health. As COO, Mr. Lamnin oversaw the actuarial, marketing, sales and product offerings of the company and headed the Company's Health Care Reform Working Group that developed the business strategy for the future.
Before his move to Assurant Health, Mr. Lamnin rose to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Assurant Solutions and Assurant Specialty Property. He also headed the mortgage services, sales finance and consumer finance business units for American Bankers prior to its acquisition by Fortis. Mr. Lamnin is a CPA and prior to joining the Assurant family of companies was a senior accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Lamnin attended the University of Florida where he earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting.
